Do you build native iOS and Android, or cross-platform?
Both. For most projects with a $15k–$40k budget we recommend Flutter — one codebase that ships native-quality apps to both iOS and Android stores. For apps that need deep platform integration (ARKit, hardware sensors, CarPlay/Android Auto) we build native Swift and Kotlin. We recommend the right approach per project, not the one we're most comfortable billing.
How long does it take to build a mobile app?
An MVP (3–5 core screens, authentication, one primary workflow) takes 8–14 weeks. A full v1 with onboarding, user accounts, push notifications, and backend API takes 14–24 weeks. Enterprise apps with complex integrations take longer — we scope these individually.
What's included in your app development service?
UX/UI design (Figma), front-end app build, backend API (Node.js or Firebase), authentication, push notifications, App Store and Google Play submission, crash monitoring setup, and 30 days of post-launch support.
Do you handle App Store and Google Play submission?
Yes. We handle the entire submission process: app store screenshots, descriptions, privacy policy, age rating, and the back-and-forth with Apple review. We've shipped dozens of apps to both stores and know the common rejection reasons.
Do you build the backend API as well?
Yes. Most apps need a backend. We build REST APIs in Node.js, use Firebase for simpler real-time apps, or integrate with your existing backend. The full stack is included unless you have an existing API you want us to integrate with.
How much does a mobile app cost?
Flutter/cross-platform MVP from $15,000. Full v1 with backend from $25,000. Native iOS or Android from $20,000. Complex apps (marketplace, booking platform, fintech) from $40,000+. We give you a fixed-scope quote before any work begins.
Will you maintain the app after launch?
Yes. OS updates, new store requirements, and dependency updates all require maintenance. Our app Care Plans cover OS compatibility testing, security patches, crash monitoring, and store compliance. We don't build apps and disappear.
Can you build a booking or marketplace app?
Booking platforms are our specialty — it's the foundation behind BookingDaddy. We've built custom booking engines for healthcare, hospitality, services, and fitness. Marketplaces with buyer/seller flows, payments, and admin dashboards are also a core competency.
