This plugin development project built a WordPress plugin to integrate the PlayEasy Private Events Channel by auto-importing events from an RSS feed, using an admin-defined RSS URL and configurable pull intervals.
The goal was a system the client could rely on and grow with, not one that would need rebuilding when requirements evolved. Every decision, from architecture to UI, was made with that long-term value in mind.
The client needed events from the PlayEasy Private Events Channel to appear automatically on their WordPress site, without staff manually copying event details every time something new was scheduled or an existing event changed.
This Plugin Development project built a WordPress plugin to integrate the PlayEasy Private Events Channel by auto-importing events from an RSS feed, using an admin-defined RSS URL and configurable pull intervals. The plugin updates existing events and deletes expired ones automatically, all displayed on a modern events page built with an Elementor events loop.
